ASSISTANT SHIFT CHARGE ENGINEER
Main Functions:
Supervision of shift staff during start up, shutdown and trip conditions. Maintaining constant record of the operation of the plant and main auxiliaries. Preparations for Permit-to- Work on equipments.
Minimum Requirements:
B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 8 years of Operations experience within a power plant.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Computer literacy

No. of Vacancies (Nos. 3)
OPERATORS COMBINED CYCLE
Main Functions:
Attend, monitor and control the operation of plant equipment from a central control. Normal area of work includes all of the plant including gas turbines, steam turbines, distillers and common equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree level of education in mechanical or electrical engineering supplemented by 4 years related experience or diploma level of education supplemented by 7 years related experience.
Competency in operating distillers & their ancillaries is an advantage.
Good knowledge of working written and spoken English.
Computer literacy.

No. of Vacancies (Nos. 4)
PRODUCT WATER REMINERALIZATION OPERATORS
Main Functions:
Area of work encompasses the remineralization plant and CO2 production, liquefaction and storage plant on the site. Assist in other B.O.P. areas in the station. Routine inspection of all running plant.
Performs safety isolation & normalization of systems.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree level of education in chemical engineering supplemented by 3 years related experience or diploma level of education supplemented by 6 years related experience.
4 years related experience in the water treatment industry.
Good knowledge of working written and spoken English.
Computer literacy.

No. of Vacancies (Nos. 8)
OPERATORS
Main Functions:
Carries out daily routine inspection of all running machines. Checks for any malfunctions, and takes action if any. Performs safe isolation normalization of the system.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree level of education in mechanical or electrical engineering supplemented by 3 years related experience or diploma level of education supplemented by 6 years related experience.
Competency in operating power station ancillaries an advantage.
4 years related experience in the power industry.
Good knowledge of working written and spoken English.
Computer literacy.
General conditions:
Candidates must not exceed 40 years of age.
