A Construction Company in Qatar seeks to recruit

a:QC Inspector (E&M)

Brief Description of Job

:= The Project E&M Scope includes but not limited to piping (steel, GRP, etc.),seawater pumps and other rotating equipment, treatment packages, electricaldistribution (low voltage switchgears, power transformers, earthing, etc.) andinstrumentation for their operation as well as technical buildings utilities.

= The successful candidate would support the Site Engineers inspecting thepermanent works, including delivered materials, in order to verify conformancewith the contract quality requirements.

= Co-ordinate the inspection and test requirements on behalf of the QC SectionHead with the Client.

= Implement Company's IMS on construction activities, suppliers, sub-contractorsto ensure compliance with internal Company audits and ISO Standards.

= Generate and ensure that the documentation of the inspections, tests andsurveys meets the requirements of the Project Quality plan & procedures.

= Complete relevant forms and prepare reports on inspection and tests under taken for inclusion in and maintenance of inspection records.

= Communicating effectively with the Client at his level.

Qualifications:

= Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) with at least 4 years siteexperience.

= Technical knowledge and understanding of execution methodology.

= Knowledge of international codes and standards.

= Computer literate.

Experience:

= QC experience of two (2) at least completed M&E projects with similarinstallations and successful completion of relevant specialised courses.

= Good communication skills.

= Excellent knowledge of the English language.

Good knowledge in industrial plant and the QATAR regulations in order to:

= Assist the draftsman by the detail design and theissue of shop drawings for electrical arrangements,single line diagrams, and cable routings.

= Prepare list and BOQ from the drawings.= Perform site erection supervision.

= Perform scheduling and progress records of workand installation.

= Computer Skill in AUTO CAD and Excel/Word iswelcome.

ELECTRICAL / MECHANICALDRAUGHTSMAN / AUTOCAD OPERATOR

= Good knowledge in electrical (Industrial installation,site network, panel and single line diagram) and ormechanical (Piping & equipment arrangement,Isometric)

= Able to make site records for "as build" drawings.= Able to issue bill of quantity from the drawing etc.

2) SALES ENGINEER INSTRUMENTATIONc

Degree in Engineering with specilisation in instrumentationc A minimum of 5 years experiencec The candidate should have experience of business development, sourcingof suitable products, interpreting client requirements & preparation of bids,installation and commissioning of equipments / systems.c Fluency in Englishc Age below 35 yearsc Change of sponsorship required

3) MECHANICAL / CHEMICAL SALES ENGINEERc

Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineeringc

At least 5 years experience in sales functions to the oil and gas and Energy sector especially in process and mechanical equipments /

fully conversant with Chemical processes & products in oil, gas andpetrochemical industries

c Dealing with end users in major energy Companies and Consultants and Contractorsc

Experience of handling a wide ranging products portfolioc Independent initiative to develop new opportunitiesc working knowledge of computersc Age 25-30 yearsc
