Payable Accountants
Location: Abu Dhabi
Our client, a Govt Organization is looking out to hire candidates for both Senior & Junior AP Accountants with strong and stable background in Account Payables.
Major responsibilities would be to receipt supplier invoices covering approval, payment of the invoice, and updation of the accounting records. Ensures that invoices are processed in accordance with the terms of the contract/purchase order. Separates vendor invoices for capital expenditure from invoices for trade payables and indicates the payment due date in all cases based on the agreed payment terms. Matches various documents( invoices and purchase orders)associated with a standard or contract purchase order prior to releasing payment to a vendor to ensure that only valid payments are made for goods and services received. Performs payments to vendors after the confirmation of the receipt and acceptance of goods and or services as stated in the purchase order/contract from the requesting division and or stores,etc.Releases payments to vendors on the payment due dates against vendor invoices that have been processed after appropriate verification against receiving reports and purchase orders via approved payments methods. Processing the company's accounts payable functions with its supporting reports in a consistent, accurate, professional, and knowledgeable manner as per the company's policies & processes.
Qualification & Experience
2-4 years exp as AP Accountant for Junior AP Accountant post and 6-8 years exp for Senior AP Accountant. Both the positions require Masters Degree or equivalent in finance or accounting.

Our client, a well known power plant is looking out to hire a Head for their Electrical & Pump Department and would be responsible for the maintenance of generators, transformers, motors, pumps and the power distribution system in the power plant. The candidate should have five years experience of electrical system in thermal power plants or in similar process industry. Good knowledge in generator transformer and motor protection and power distribution up to 400 kV is mandatory. Experience of Maintenance Management system (Maximo) is an advantage. Must have good skills in spoken & written English, Arabic skill is an advantage.
Qualification:
