Minimum of 10 years' experience in core human resources functions along with 3 year experience as an HR Advisor. The remit of the role will be to work closely with the HR Director and Senior HR Specialist providing generalist HR support with a particular focus on employee relations.
You will provide support, advice and guidance on complex ER issues as well as coaching managers to become more self sufficient when dealing with ER cases. You will also advise on people strategies, HR best practice and legal issues.
There will also be a need to oversee all areas of performance management including ensuring that the correct and most up-to-date tools are in place to support management. You will require a strong understanding of employment legislation with the ability to translate this into a language that is understood by the various client groups. Although a CIPD qualification will be beneficial, the single most important factor is the ability to demonstrate strong hands-on generalist HR experience.
